February 1958

Founded as “Ogasawara Brothers Trading Co., Ltd.” to handle import-export cargo and transportation services.
December 1958

Incorporated as “Dowa Shoun Co., Ltd.” and merged with Ogasawara Brothers Trading Co., Ltd.
November 1962

Renamed to “Dowa Unyu Co., Ltd.”
October 1966

Obtained Customs Cargo Handler License from Yokohama Customs.
June 1969

Renamed to “Shinwa Kigyo Co., Ltd.”
August 1973

Obtained Customs Brokerage License from Yokohama Customs.
January 1997

Obtained Class 1 Freight Forwarding and Freight Agency licenses from Kanto Transport Bureau.
July 1999

Commenced direct business transactions with overseas trading companies for freight forwarding operations.
June 2006

Developed and launched our proprietary core business management system in-house.
November 2024

Joined the Kawanoe Port Transportation Co., Ltd. Group through business succession.
